About parking permits

Just recently, some companies don’t like parking permits. They say they are too much work, that they know every employee on their grounds and they don’t want or need the added security parking permits could bring. But for the majority of today’s companies, parking permits are a valued necessity. You’ll find parking permits offer tremendous security and maintain order even under minor “nuisance” issues that can be easily resolved,  all because you have issued every new employee a parking permit.

As you issue new parking permits you should take some basic information from an employee for security to have on hand. They should have what department the employee works and what their extension is. Security should also know who their supervisor is and what the extension is for that person.

The great use of asset tags and labels

Do you know what assets can get stolen? What assets do you capitalize? Which instruments are likely to end up “moving” to another department or, worse still, finding its way to a sub-contractor’s inventory? Even schools and churches have assets that need to be marked: AV and sound gear, computers, lab equipment and, even, cell phones. Asset Tags just make it much easier to track and to enforce your ownership rights.

Asset Labels help you retrieve equipment that has been stolen or lost. Your asset tags can even help provide a record, in case you wish to prosecute criminal activities. And, this, of course, will further deter pilfering.
